Volunteer, communicator, educator
Geoffrey Vanderburg is a community volunteer, professional communicator and university educator.
In addition to serving as managing director of Iradesso Communications Corp., an investor relations firm, he is an instructor of public relations at Mount Royal University. He is also a long-time community volunteer. He served as a director on the board of the Lakeview Community Association for 15 years, filling roles such as newsletter editor, webmaster, vice president and president.
Geoffrey has a bachelor of arts in communications from the University of Calgary and a master of arts in journalism from Western University in Ontario. He also completed the Canadian Securities Course. Before joining Iradesso in 2001, he worked as an editorial assistant at the Calgary Herald and as a reporter for the Edmonton Journal. Geoffrey and his wife, Jennifer Partridge, have four children ranging from age 13 to 19. They've lived in the southwest Calgary community of Lakeview for 21 years.
